Para · in-person go-to-market

We send trained people to the events your buyers go to.

Para works like an API for expert humans. Tell us what you need from in-person events over the next two quarters. We chart the events, keep the ones where your buyers are, and send a trained rep to each, in any city.

Seven startups send us to their events today.

01 · Why in person

Your industry decides in person. Being there is expensive, so most founders are not.

11,000+trade shows in the US in the last full census.CEIR Census 2015, via TSNN
$32,400median all-in cost for an exhibitor, per show.Ei Advisory, September 2026

So the trip gets skipped, or someone flies in unprepared and comes home with a stack of business cards.

02 · How it works

Five steps, from your goals to a trained rep at each event.

  1. Goals

We start with what you need from events in the next two quarters: meetings with buyers, partners, hires, or a read on the market. Each goal gets a low and a high case, agreed before anyone travels.

  2. The event map

We chart every event in your industry for those two quarters: the dates, the city, who attends and what it costs to go.

  3. Buyer overlap

Each event gets a score: the share of its attendees who match your ideal customer profile. It comes from attendee and registrant lists, exhibitor and speaker lists, and the organiser's own audience breakdown. We also count the buyers and the cost of each conversation. Events above the bar we agree with you make the list.

  4. Reps, trained

For each event on the list we pick a rep by city, industry and availability, and train them on your company: your one sentence, the pitches, the questions to ask, the people to meet. New reps do their first event as a shadow shift with one of us. Where we can, the same rep covers your repeat events, so the relationships carry from one to the next.

  5. Your goals, met

At the event the rep meets your buyers and captures every conversation as it happens. Follow-ups go out in your name within 24 hours, the Field Report lands in two days, and we report against your goals at 7, 30 and 90 days.

03 · The event map

Two quarters of events, scored for your buyers.

An example: a startup selling inspection software to US utilities, January to June 2027. Each dot is an event. Higher means a larger share of its attendees are buyers. Bigger means more buyers in total.

Example event map: 31 events from January to June 2027 by buyer overlap; 7 are above the 25% bar and 5 make the list. 0% 20% 40% 60% Jan Feb Mar Apr May Jun The bar: 25% buyers Utilities trade show, Austin41% · 380 buyers Asset integrity conference, Houston52% · 140 buyers Grid operations summit, Chicago33% · 210 buyers Inspection technology expo, Las Vegas28% · 460 buyers Utility drones and robotics forum, Denver37% · 95 buyers

04 · What comes back

A repository for the engagement, with every conversation in it.

  • One private GitHub repository per client. You own it when the engagement ends.
  • A page per person met: who they are, what they said, what we promised, the next step, how warm.
  • One table of everyone met. The Field Report within two days, and the follow-ups, approved by a person before they go.
  • An agent that answers from the record. Ask who was interested, what people said about pricing, or who was promised a demo.

06 · Where we are

Seven clients today. We open the marketplace at one hundred.

7 of the first 100 clients

  • Until then, an agency. Every person who goes to an event for a client is chosen and trained for that event: their industry, the events they have worked, a scored shadow shift.
  • The founder works closely with every rep, before the event, at it, and on the Field Report.
  • One client per category at every event. We do not take two companies that compete with each other.
  • Reps attend as themselves and say who they represent. Everything we learn for you stays with you.
